POPIA & Data Compliance

Quantum Neuro Creations is a South African business and complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Where users are located in the European Economic Area, we also comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information Officer

Under POPIA, every responsible party must designate an Information Officer. The designated Information Officer for Quantum Neuro Creations is reachable at privacy@qncacademy.com. All POPIA enquiries, access requests, and deletion requests should be directed to this address.

What POPIA calls "personal information"

Under POPIA, personal information means information that can identify you. For Quantum Cube, that is: your email address, first name, last name, and date of birth. We do not collect national ID numbers, passport numbers, or payment-card details (payment cards are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record).

How we protect the POPIA conditions

Accountability: We take responsibility for your data and for our service providers' handling of it.

Processing limitation: We only collect the information we need to generate your reading and deliver your account.

Purpose specification: Your data is used only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

Further processing limitation: We do not use your data for secondary purposes inconsistent with the original collection.

Information quality: You can update your information at any time. Since your reading depends on your birth data, we encourage you to check it for accuracy.

Openness: Our data handling is documented in this Privacy Policy and POPIA notice.

Data subject participation: You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time.

Cross-border transfer

Your account data is stored in Frankfurt, Germany on infrastructure operated by Supabase Inc. This is a cross-border transfer from South Africa to the European Union. The EU provides a level of data protection that meets or exceeds POPIA standards, and the transfer is necessary to provide you with the service.

Your rights under POPIA and GDPR

Right of access: you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Right to correction: you can ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
Right to deletion: you can ask us to delete your account and personal information
Right to object to marketing: you can withdraw your marketing consent at any time
Right to complain: you can lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local data-protection authority (EU)

How to exercise your rights

Email privacy@qncacademy.com with your request. We will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and respond substantively within 30 days.
